The truth is that online work has its own advantages and it also has its own disadvantages (cons). While online work has been great for some, it has also been a nightmare for others. In this article, we are going to examine both the disadvantages and the advantages of online work. But it is true, since almost everything that has an advantage will also likely have a disadvantage. Take me for example. I work and earn money online but I have a lot of friends and sisters that don’t. The reason is not because I have not introduced it to them but their flare for it differs from mine. So one truth I have discovered about online job is that it is not everybody’s thing. So forget the crap that may suggest that if its online work you are going to like it. I have seen a lot of people start an online job but they just couldn’t go on. This may be because it was not as easy as they thought. So let us first consider some of the cons of online work.
Disadvantages of Online Work
- Like any other work, online work could be very stressful at times, and it may sometimes not be very easy having it as a part time job.
- Online job could involve a little investment on your part. And this is not like an office job where you just submit your free application letter or go for a free interview.
- You stand the risk of losing your cash and hard work online. This is because you are likely not going to know the person you are working for, where they live or their phone number. The highest you may know might just be a screen name and their email address which may just be one of the 5 that they might have.
- There may be no real guarantee of payment like you would have with an office job. So you stand the risk of working for free which is a very bad omen.
