WHAT IS WORK AT HOME?
Over the years, as the world became more and more a computer village through the birth of the internet, a lot of businesses started to go online. The advantage of this is because the internet makes it possible to reach an unlimited number of consumers. Like with every business you must have extra hands to help you succeed. This gave rise to online recruitments of workers and the consequent idea of work at home. While work at home became the popular term for working online, online work itself didn’t actually begin as a way of making individuals work from home. The first point that must be made here is that we are talking about “work” from home. This means that it is still a work, so there is nothing like easy lazy cash. While you may not be as stressed out when working from home like you would have been if you were working an office job under a boss, it is still a ‘work’. There must be effort made no matter how little. Nobody will give cash out for free. If I want to pay you to do something, then know that it has to be a form of duty and not play. So forget the idea that you will make thousands online by going online 2 hours in a week. There are such offers online and they are the first sign of the word SCAM!!!
FALSE POSITIVES
This is the term I give to almost all work at home sites that are there today. I once read a review about a site. The person said the site was not a scam because one could earn something with them. But it was far more difficult than they suggested and the earnings were very small compared to what they suggested. I don’t care if you earn or not, as far as I am concerned, any site that over exaggerates their services is a SCAM!!! Someone may ask, who doesn’t exaggerate anything these days – well I didn’t say exaggerate, I said “over exaggerate” which is the picture of most work from home sites. They are false positives so don’t fall for them. They present a lot of positive offers but deliver little if they deliver are at all. Don’t fall for them.
TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE
This is the simplest step to follow if you don’t want to ever be scammed. Because the reason it is too good to be true is simply because it isn’t true. Would you give somebody thousands for playing around? I mean would you give money that you worked for to me just for joking around. If you are giving money to anyone for any job there must be a labour involved no matter how small. If you agree with this then know that the person providing the job agrees too. So there is nothing like easy lazy cash. If you desperately want easy lazy cash, I can assure you that you will be SCAMMED.
WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
This is important because countries like US, UK, Canada and Australia will find it easier to get a work from home than others. You won’t hear this elsewhere. They all say anyone can join and you may join only to be told that you are not eligible. But it is not impossible if you are not from these countries. I work from home and I am not from any of these countries.
WHAT IS YOUR EXPERTISE?
Most work from home sites tell you that you don’t need a degree, only simple email knowledge will do. While this is true to an extent it is not the whole truth. I have found out that just like in the office job, skilled persons with specific areas of expertise always have better job opportunities and pay. High paying jobs may involve you to be able to design a website or something like that which most persons cannot do. But not to discourage you, there are plenty of other ways to succeed online. But by telling you the truth, it will first of all prevent you from been scammed which is very important.
SIMPLE DATA ENTRY JOBS
It is obvious that the major scam out there is data entry jobs. It catches people because of the low level of skill required. But know this; the work always equals the pay. If you won’t pay someone $1500 for filling out just a single form then don’t expect any employer to do the same. So what is a data entry job scam? Simple, they promise you will earn a lot in a less stressful ways by filling out simple forms or doing other online clerical duties. Although rarely, one of the best pay may be someone choosing to pay you $200 for posting on about 100 sites. But don’t get too excited yet, because you must first be registered in all of those 100 sites before you can post anything. I guess they didn’t tell you this. So like I said, it may be at home but it is still a work. Just think of the time you will need to do this. It is true that there are data entry jobs online, it is true that you can be paid to do them, it is true that the expertise needed is little but it is not simple. It may be easy but it is certainly not for the lazy.
For Now, Be Wise....
In conclusion, it is important for you to know this, so that you won’t get scammed. So be wise and don’t get scammed.
